After a long legal battle against her own mother, Leighton Meester has finally gotten the judgment she has been waiting to hear.
According to a report put out by TMZ on Wednesday (June 6), the "Gossip Girl" starlet recently won a long awaited battle over wrongly used expenses she claimed she sent home to help her ill brother.
The 26-year-old star claimed that she sent home a monthly amount of $7,500 to help cover medical expenses for her sibling, but her mom allegedly diverted the money to spend on herself for things including botox, plastic surgery and hair extensions.
After her mom Constance Meester unsuccessfully tried to convince the judge that her daughter sent home the money to take care of her, court ruled in favor of Leighton saying that there was no such agreement.
Although the brunette beauty wasn't suing to get the funds returned to her, she is now in the clear about worrying where the money will be spent in the future.
