CORONER: Whitney Houston Died of “Accidental Drowning,” Cocaine Found

Whitney Houston’s official cause of death was accidental drowning, according to the L.A. County Coroner. She also had cocaine in her system, and both heart disease and drug use were found to be contributing factors in her death. The coroner's report lists the official cause of death as "drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart heart disease and cocaine use," and labels it an "accident."
