Phillip Phillips Reportedly Gives American Idol Car Prize to Parents, Awaits Surgery
Phillip Phillips, who won "American Idol" this week despite ongoing health problems, is apparently as good a son as he is a performer. The singer is reportedly giving his parents the 2013 Ford Fusion he won on "Idol" as a gift. Rather than using the new wheels himself, Phillips will keep on trucking in his 2001 Ford Ranger, according to TMZ.
